This baked country-style steak recipe is one my momma handed down to me. 1<\/span>\u00a0teaspoon<\/span>\u00a0cracked black pepper<\/span><\/li>\n
1<\/span>\u00a0teaspoon<\/span>\u00a0seasoned salt<\/span><\/li>\n
\u00bc<\/span>\u00a0teaspoon<\/span>\u00a0garlic powder (Optional)<\/span><\/li>\n
1<\/span>\u00a0pound<\/span>\u00a0beef cube steaks<\/span><\/li>\n
\u00bd<\/span>\u00a0cup<\/span>\u00a0olive oil<\/span><\/li>\n
2<\/span>\u00a0cups<\/span>\u00a0beef broth<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Instructions:<\/h2>\n

Gather all ingredients and preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).<\/li>\n
Mix flour, black pepper, seasoned salt, and garlic powder together in a shallow bowl. Coat cube steaks thoroughly with flour mixture, patting flour onto steaks to get a good coating.<\/li>\n
Retain 3 tablespoons of seasoned flour.<\/li>\n
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Pan-fry cube steaks until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Place steaks into a 9×12-inch baking dish.<\/li>\n
Whisk retained seasoned flour into beef broth until smooth.<\/li>\n
Pour broth over steaks. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.<\/li>\n
