Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients:

For the Dough:

  • 2 cups Bisquick mix
  • ⅔ cup milk
  •  ¼ cup granulated sugar

For the Filling:

  •  ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

    For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9-inch round baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Bisquick mix, milk, and granulated sugar. Stir until the dough forms a soft ball. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more Bisquick mix.
  3. Roll Out the Dough: Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it gently 5-7 times. Roll the dough into a 12×9-inch rectangle.
  4. Add the Filling: Spread the softened butter evenly over the dough. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the buttered dough.
  5. Roll and Slice: Starting from the long side, tightly roll the dough into a log. Slice the log into 1-inch thick rolls and place them in the prepared pan.
  6. Bake: Bake the cinnamon rolls for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Prepare the Glaze: While baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  8. Glaze the Rolls: Once baked, let the rolls cool for about 5 minutes and drizzle with glaze.
  9. Serve: Serve warm and enjoy this sweet, soft, and irresistible treat!
